Instructor Training Program for Algerian
Military for Northrop Grumman,
Baltimore, Maryland, USA
Description: This was by far one of the
most comprehensive and long-standing contracts
we had (seven years of steady program design,
development and delivery). Members of
the Algerian military were brought into the U.S.
on a rotating basis for a three-part training
program that lasted over a year with the end
goal being they would learn how to develop and
implement an automated 911 system. After
learning English for 3-6 months (they primarily
spoke Arabic and French) they were then split up
into different specialties such as setting up
computer networks, setting up a call centre,
etc.
Upon completion of the specialty training, a
select group of the participants (about 100 in
total) were sent to us to learn how to be
trainers and course designers. Once they
completed our program, they were sent back
to Algeria to teach their respective teams the
technology and content they learned while they
